iamjasminerae is a blog about my journey to being brave enough to step out of the boat and walk on water. This means tackling my fears daily, learning to trust in my heavenly father, and sharing my stories about my internal struggles, forgiveness, parenting, marriage, and my everyday life, hoping that you will be encouraged to get out of the boat!

About the Author

Jasmine Smedley was born in Toledo, OH, and is a class of 2000 graduate of St. Ursula Academy. After graduating from Kent State University, with a degree in Electronic Media Production, she moved to Cincinnati, OH where she currently resides. She is married to her college sweetheart Cameron Smedley, and they have three children: Jaden, Carson and Reese, and a puppy named Snickers.

Jasmine has always had a desire to write and a story to tell. She hopes to one day publish a fiction book.

She enjoys volunteering, playing the drums, traveling, getting lost in Target stores, puzzles and creating scrapbooks.
